02 - In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, oil or melted butter, brown sugar, yogurt or sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon if using.
04 - Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
05 - Carefully fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
06 - Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the surface. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
07 - Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center emerges with a few moist crumbs.
